The Lovely Bones movie
Has anyone seen it yet?
I just read a review on it from EW and apparently its sugar coated, theres no mention of Susie being raped and her “heaven” is as they put it ” a gumdrop-colored hobbit shire, a magical place of fanciful special events” ( The Lovely Bones review )
As much as I love the cast and from clips I’ve seen they did a wonderful job, I’m afraid to even watch this now because I loved the book so much I don’t want it to be ruined.
So yeah, if you’ve seen it was it a lot different? Is it worth seeing?
Backstory:
My brothers kindergarden teacher had them all tell her their favorite holiday recipes and food, these two, were my favorites.
The first one: I imagined it in a reeaaally southern accent haha. Idk why, I just did. It’s too funny. Love it.
The second one: Aunt Bethy’s gonna be piiissed that she got ratted out haha.
There were soo many more funny ones, like pumpkin pie with apples in it that tastes like oranges. Everything with the exception of about two or three recipes are baked at 4-20 degrees, and for anywhere from 6-50 minutes. Little kids are so cute haha.
I think my favorite descriptions were
“when the oven is as hot as coffee” and “when the oven is hot as fire”

Cory: What about ER? Now the doctor on ER.. She really left. What about her?
Shawn: ERs real…
Cory: So you don’t think shes really gonna leave do ya?
Shawn: no not at all

Shawn: Cause you don’t deserve that kinda pain”
